CCR Project Materials

Below are links to a selection of materials, for you to preview before the Symposium or, alternately, browse afterward if you like. You also may more broadly browse the rich resources contained on the website by using the vertical menu bar to the left.

Project Films. On this page, you will find several short videos about the project, including a news report from Danish TV, a short film highlighting the beautiful new Örebro rhetoric rooms, and powerpoint films about the project's use of technology, among others.

Cross-Cultural Rhetoric Blog. Since January 2007, students and instructors have been using this collaborative blog to carry on conversations about intercultural issues, to conduct joint projects, and to follow up on discussions begun during video conference sessions. Read our more recent posts, or use the "categories" menu in the upper right of the blog screen for a more specific search of posts.

Instructor's Blog. Faculty involved in the Cross-Cultural Rhetoric Project use this blog space to reflect on larger issues related to teaching, scholarship, and international collaboration.

Workshop webpages. Since winter 2008, each CCR workshop has its own designated Workshop Webpage that provides students links to resources, handouts, and instructions they will need during their cross-cultural exchange. Browse through this menu of pages to view some of these handouts, instructional videos, and activity instruction sheets.

Video Conference Film Clips. This page contains links to short film clips of student video conferences, designed provide insight into these exchanges and the larger practical and theoretical issues they suggest.

Photo Gallery. During winter 2007 and the 2007-2008 academic year, the CCR core team used Flickr photosharing to store photo documentation about the project. To view these photos, go to Flickr and search using any of these terms: ccrwgln, ccrorebro, ccrstanford, ccrtech, ccrinstructors.

CCR Courses. This page lists courses and, when available, links to syllabi, showing the dramatic increase in project-related courses over the past 3 years.

Publications. Browse our project publications for an overview of some of the recent materials produced by and about the project.

Assessment Materials. This page links to a variety of the materials we have used to assess the outcomes of the CCR project and includes a link to our 2007 Report to the Wallenberg Global Learning Network.
