Claudia Fernandes
Claudia Fernandes is a third year student at The Hague University, majoring in communication management. She comes from the Netherlands and is raised in one of the biggest multi-cultural city you can find there, Rotterdam. She has always been interested in cultures because she was raised with two different ones. Her parents are originally from the Cape Verde islands, a island group in the Atlantic ocean. The friends she has are from various backgrounds and have different cultures. Currently she is studying one semester abroad in Sweden. She enjoys having friends with different cultures were she can learn things from about the countries they come from. With this research proposal she wants to see if different cultures also stay true to their culture even when they are abroad. |
Alicia Navarro
Alicia Navarro is an ungraduate student at the university of Orebro in Sweden, working towards a dual bachelor's degree in communication and languages applied to conclude her studies. But she was already graduated by a bachelor's degree of Tourism Management at the Jacques Maillot Tourism School in 2006. Being French, she came as an exchange student in Sweden to improve her english speaking and discover a different culture. Passionate by speaking foreigns languages, travels and discover others cultures, she like to be closer to the local inhabitants. At 22 years old, she already visited numerous countries. Thanks to her trips she understood that countries don't have the same behaviors to faced to a situation, that's why she analyse differentes societies through wedding situations, because way of doing a wedding express all the facet of a culture |
Gaëlle Roulland
Gaëlle Roulland is an Edhec Bachelor student soon graduate in Business Management. Thanks to her parents who loved to debate during the dinner about politics, human rights, culture and religion; she developed early an interests for arguing and exchange her ideas. She was lucky to integrate a high school where debates with teacher
were welcome and so learn how to expose ideas and create argues.
During her studies she spend one year abroad in Sweden to learn about new culture, the Swedish one and also cultures from all exchange students. She is also interesting in movies that show reality and culture. She engaged herself in a humanitarian association for Moroccan children and militated for her politics party. All researcher paper that she made at school was made to engage ideas
debate and defend her ideas. She was most of the time defending human right, woman movements and children.
